Large Format Specialist, Print Production & Finishing
Overview
You will own the production floor on 2nd shift, operating large-format printers and Zünd cutting systems to produce high-quality signage and displays. You will work with an experienced team and shift lead, troubleshooting issues and ensuring projects meet deadlines. Training is provided on all equipment, making this a chance to build mastery in large-format printing.
What You'll Do10
- 1Operate Agfa Titan and Tauro printers and Canon/Epson large-format printers for printing jobs.
- 2Run Zünd CNC cutting systems and Summa vinyl cutters for precision cutting.
- 3Laminate, cut, and finish printed materials including applying adhesives, hardware, and grommets.
- 4Review job specs and set up equipment and materials for production runs.
- 5Monitor print and finishing quality, adjusting as needed to maintain standards.
- 6Troubleshoot printing, cutting, and material issues, resolving problems independently.
- 7Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on printers and cutters.
- 8Prioritize tasks and complete projects on schedule, communicating status to shift lead.
- 9Keep the production area organized and safe, following safety protocols.
- 10Adapt to changing priorities and cross-train on other production equipment as needed.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED.
- 21-2+ years of large-format printing or related production experience preferred.
- 3Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand tools.
- 4Ability to work with computers and production software like Asanti and ONYX RIP.
- 5Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality output.
- 6Troubleshooting skills for production problems.
- 7Good organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects.
- 8Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team.
- 9Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
- 10Must pass pre-employment background check; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for entire shift.
