Landscaping Assistant with Driving Experience
Overview
You'll support the crew leader on green area maintenance in Austin, Texas. You'll plant, water, mulch, and prep sites. You'll drive trucks to sites and keep them clean. This role suits someone with 2+ years driving and a clean record.
What You'll Do10
- 1Assist the crew leader with planting, watering, and mulching.
- 2Unload and distribute plants, soil, and mulch.
- 3Prepare work areas by measuring and marking accurately.
- 4Set up tools and materials for skilled workers.
- 5Clean and prepare assigned areas, including trash pickup.
- 6Operate hand and power tools.
- 7Direct traffic in work zones when needed.
- 8Move and adjust machinery and materials.
- 9Clean the work site at the end of the day.
- 10Drive trucks and vehicles to work sites, keep them clean, and report maintenance needs.
Requirements9
- 12+ years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
- 2Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- 3Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours, including climbing stairs while carrying up to 60 lbs.
- 4Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- 5Basic math operations.
- 6Basic English required.
- 7Ability to follow instructions and adapt to task changes.
- 8Team player who works well with different personalities.
- 9Previous landscaping or similar experience preferred.
