Overview
Lead monitoring and maintenance of landfill gas collection and control systems ensuring regulatory compliance and preventing harmful gas releases oversee pipeline integrity and system performance through daily data entry and analysis.
What You'll Do7
- 1Monitor and maintain landfill gas collection and control systems
- 2Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- 3Identify and locate gas or O2 leaks in pipelines and systems
- 4Conduct pressure tests on gas systems to check for leaks
- 5Repair and maintain gas valves to ensure correct operation
- 6Utilize gas analyzers to measure and monitor gas concentrations
- 7Enter and upload data into the system at the end of each day
Requirements9
- 1Proficiency in monitoring and tuning the wellfield
- 2Experience with pump maintenance
- 3Experience in maintaining and repairing gas pipelines HDPE pipe fusion
- 4Understanding and adherence to safety regulations and protocols
- 5Ability to conduct pressure tests on gas systems
- 6Experience with methane and landfill gas systems
- 7Familiarity with Envisions or GEM 5000 meters
- 8Proficiency in data entry and meter reading software
- 9Experience in environmental field and environmental engineering
