Overview

QA Laboratory Technician supports quality control operations at Commerce Milk Plant. Performs laboratory testing maintains quality records monitors product specifications and supports food safety initiatives. This role drives continuous improvement through data analysis and collaborative problem solving.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Collect samples and perform microbiological chemical physical and organoleptic testing
  • 2Plate read and record laboratory test results
  • 3Enter data and maintain accurate daily QC records
  • 4Follow SOPs and QC Hold procedures for out-of-specification products
  • 5Calibrate troubleshoot and maintain laboratory testing equipment
  • 6Monitor test-result trends and communicate quality issues and corrective actions
  • 7Support plant sanitation safety 5S and continuous improvement activities
  • 8Meet daily with supervisors regarding production and quality issues
  • 9Perform other laboratory and quality-control duties as assigned

Requirements9

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 23-5 seasons of relevant QC laboratory experience
  • 3Spark and Airflow
  • 4Bachelor’s degree in Food Science Biology Microbiology or related science
  • 5Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • 6Proficiency with Windows-based computer programs and data entry
  • 7Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 8Comfortable working in cold and loud manufacturing environments
  • 9Eligibility to work indefinitely without employment limitations
