Lab Assistant Part-Time, Production Support
Overview
As a Lab Assistant, you will own the day-to-day organization and administrative support for the production team at TLS Sound Labs LLC. You will work side-by-side with the Production Manager to keep the lab running smoothly, handling document management, data entry, and physical upkeep. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in a real manufacturing environment, with no prior experience required. You will directly contribute to the efficiency of the production floor, learning how to prioritize tasks and maintain order in a fast-paced setting.
What You'll Do7
- 1Assist the Production Manager with daily production and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth workflow from day one.
- 2Scan, organize, and maintain production documents and records, keeping all files accessible and up-to-date.
- 3Enter orders and perform basic data entry using company systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- 4Complete routine and remedial tasks as assigned, including cleaning and organizing lab and production areas.
- 5Maintain organization of production materials, supplies, documents, and work areas, labeling and sorting as needed.
- 6Support inventory organization by counting and restocking materials under the guidance of the Production Manager.
- 7Take on special projects and cross-functional tasks to support production goals and improve lab efficiency.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- 2No previous work experience required; training provided.
- 3Basic computer skills and ability to learn order entry and other company systems.
- 4Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- 5Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks accurately.
- 6Dependable and able to work independently with appropriate direction.
- 7Willingness to assist with a variety of administrative and hands-on tasks.
- 8Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift light materials.
