Kitchen Leader, Food Service & Team Development
Overview
As Kitchen Leader you will own food preparation, quality control, and daily kitchen operations at Chipotle locations in Phoenix. You will grill meats, sauté vegetables, and ensure food is delicious and safe for guests. You’ll train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders and maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked kitchen with well-maintained equipment. This role emphasizes teamwork, guest service, and hands-on leadership in a fast casual environment.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build food quality by cooking to order and following kitchen procedures
- 2Monitor inventory and food waste and resolve quality issues
- 3Develop Crew members into future Kitchen Leaders
- 4Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service
- 5Ensure the kitchen is clean, sanitized, and equipment is in good repair
- 6Align with safety guidelines to prevent injuries and accidents
- 7Maintain MSDS documentation and FIFO inventory practices
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma
- 2Restaurant experience
- 3Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
- 4Ability to speak, read, and write the primary language of the work location
- 5Onsite, full-time availability
