Lead Offensive Coordination and teach core curriculum courses at Los Rios Community College. Responsible for student athlete development, budget management, and program oversight. Seeking a tenure track faculty member with strong leadership skills.
What You'll Do11
- 1Head Coaching: Recruit student-athletes and oversee academic eligibility
- 2Supervise student-athletes and monitor academic progress
- 3Create strength training programs and manage equipment
- 4Conduct football program operations under CCCAA NCFC NAIA NCAA rules
- 5Develop offensive game plans and manage assistant coaches
- 6Teach KINES 350 Theory of Football and SPORT 330 Football
- 7Prepare budgets and lead fundraising efforts
- 8Coordinate travel arrangements and schedule classes
- 9Assist with curriculum development and committee service
- 10Maintain professional standards and foster inclusive environment
- 11Perform all duties as outlined in the contract
Requirements9
- 1Master’s degree in kinesiology or related field with 5+ years experience
- 2Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field with 3 years coaching experience
- 3Equity-minded approach supporting diverse student populations
- 4Experience teaching physical education or kinesiology courses
- 5Proven leadership in athletic program management
- 6Ability to develop and implement training programs
- 7Strong communication and administrative skills
- 8Commitment to academic excellence and professional development
- 9Understanding of NCAA compliance and institutional policies
