What You'll Do14
- 1Maintain a safe environment through correct implementation of safety policies and procedures
- 2Observe and monitor the activities of all children in the Kids Zone
- 3Organize and participate in recreational activities as appropriate
- 4Read to children and teach simple painting drawing handicrafts and songs
- 5Engage children in activities promoting healthy habits
- 6Follow and adhere to the In-Shape Clean Approach
- 7Store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas
- 8Support social development and encourage understanding of others
- 9Ensure only authorized personnel enter the Kids Zone area
- 10Follow all policies and procedures of the Kids Zone
- 11Assist in building our community of members through consistent member experience
- 12Help with other areas of the club when needed
- 13Monitor pool and slide during seasons and implement slide rules
- 14Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements10
- 1Pre-school or day care experience desired
- 2Flexible/positive attitude to meet member expectations
- 3Patience and creative energy for working with children
- 4Physical stamina to care for energetic young children
- 5Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 6Willingness to work flexible shifts evenings weekends holidays
- 7Bilingual skills a plus
- 8Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days
- 9Trustline registration accepted
- 10First Aid Training required for pool environments
