Junior Recruiter (Federal/DoD) - Austin, TX Remote
Overview
You will own full lifecycle recruiting for cleared and uncleared positions at Significance Inc., a woman-owned consulting firm serving federal civilian and DoD customers. You will manage 4-6 active requisitions and support sourcing pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and our ATS. Your work directly supports our Talent Acquisition team and contributes to our recognition as a Washington Business Journal Best Place to Work for seven years. This role offers hands-on growth in federal recruiting with a supportive culture.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own full lifecycle recruiting for cleared and uncleared positions, from sourcing to offer.
- 2Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, and our internal ATS.
- 3Manage 4-6 active requisitions, scaling up during new federal contract awards.
- 4Conduct initial recruiter screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- 5Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring smooth scheduling.
- 6Maintain accurate and timely candidate data in the ATS, updating workflows and documentation.
- 7Deliver a high-quality candidate experience with consistent communication and follow-through.
- 8Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, and networking initiatives.
Requirements9
- 11-3 years of recruiting or staffing experience.
- 2Prior experience in government contracting or technical recruiting.
- 3Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced federal consulting environment.
- 4Strong communication and organizational skills.
- 5Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- 6Creative sourcing strategies including Boolean searches.
- 7Proactive with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- 8Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel.
- 9Bachelor's degree preferred but not required based on experience.
