Janitor, Outdoor & Office Cleaning in Sacramento
Overview
You own outdoor and indoor janitorial duties for a Sacramento property, covering trash, wiping, de-webbing, and light maintenance across 30 hours weekly. Work with a small facilities team under City Wide Property Services, reporting to management. This contract role offers a fixed daytime schedule plus extra hours when clients need them. You will operate independently, meeting safety standards and keeping the property presentable year-round.
What You'll Do9
- 1Wipe trash receptacles and replace trash liners across the property
- 2Collect trash from parking lot, landscape areas, and dumpster enclosures
- 3Spot walls inside and outside, and clean windowsills
- 4Remove cobwebs from buildings and doorways
- 5Assist with light maintenance tasks as needed
- 6Sanitize surfaces and adhere to all safety rules
- 7Keep equipment and storage areas clean and organized
- 8Report illegal dumping or property issues to management
- 9Complete other tasks assigned by management
Requirements7
- 1Perform duties that include pushing, carrying, bending, and handling supplies
- 2Walk extensively across properties and work outdoors year-round in all weather
- 3Pass a pre-employment physical ability assessment
- 4Work independently with strong communication skills
- 5Handle extra hours or schedule changes for client requests
- 6Hold a valid California driver's license
- 7Available for day shifts as required
