Janitor Cleaner at Crisp Environments — Onsite Cleaning in Phoenix
Overview
Own day-to-day cleaning operations across client sites, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly environment for office spaces and common areas. You will perform routine custodial duties, respond to cleaning emergencies, and support seasonal or project based cleaning tasks at multiple accounts. This role emphasizes reliability, organization, and teamwork.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build routine cleaning schedules for dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and restocking supplies
- 2Maintain custodial equipment and supplies and dispose of trash according to established procedures
- 3Unlock and secure facilities after cleaning and promptly report issues or supply needs
- 4Assist in on the job training for new staff and support vendors with access as needed
- 5Perform maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or moving light furniture as required
- 6Adapt cleaning functions to seasonal or project requirements and ensure safety practices
- 7Perform general custodial duties to maintain bathrooms, meeting rooms and public areas
- 8Respond to cleaning emergencies and communicate needs to supervision
- 9Follow environmental and safety guidelines to promote continuous improvement
- 10Attend safety and training sessions and complete miscellaneous assigned duties
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience
- 2Ability to read simple words and numbers and communicate in simple sentences
- 3Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- 43x per week schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri 8:00am-3:00pm
- 5Onsite/offsite location work with exposure to cleaning chemicals
- 6Relocation required to Tempe, AZ 85288 before starting
- 7Full-time or contract employment type
- 8Domestic on-site cleaning at client facilities
- 9Must be able to work in a team and follow established procedures
- 10No supervisory responsibilities
