What You'll Do8
- 1Perform general custodial and janitorial duties involved in cleaning and maintaining assigned buildings and facilities
- 2Sweep mop and buffer floors while vacuuming rugs and carpets
- 3Clean and disinfect restrooms and breakrooms ensuring proper supplies
- 4Operate equipment such as vacuum cleaners and custodial machinery safely
- 5Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and log usage
- 6Open and lock city facilities and arrange furniture for meetings
- 7Perform grounds cleanup and garden maintenance
- 8Attend monthly safety classes and annual training courses
Requirements5
- 1Graduation from high school or equivalent
- 2Some custodial or janitorial experience
- 3Valid Class C California driver's license
- 4Ability to lift light to moderate weights
- 5Physical stamina for standing and walking for extended periods
