IT Support Technician, Live Events & Arena Technology
Overview
This role owns technical support for a major arena's Technology Operations team during live events and daily operations. You will keep ServiceNow tickets moving, monitor Microsoft Teams and critical systems like clock, statistics, and sound meter platforms. You'll join a tight-knit team that supports high-stakes games and events, requiring a blend of remote and onsite troubleshooting. What You'll Do7
- 1Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end users during games and events.
- 2Monitor and maintain critical systems including clock, statistics, and sound meter platforms to ensure they operate before and during live events.
- 3Manage and resolve ServiceNow tickets, prioritizing requests based on urgency and impact.
- 4Perform game-day readiness checks, verifying all arena systems are functional ahead of events.
- 5Provide technical support remotely and onsite, assisting staff and stakeholders with Microsoft Teams and other tools.
- 6Assist with technology-related projects, including deployments and system upgrades.
- 7Collaborate with the Technology Operations team to integrate and support new technologies in the arena environment.
Requirements7
- 11+ years experience in Help Desk, IT Support, or Field Support roles.
- 2Foundational knowledge of computer networking concepts.
- 3Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- 4Experience providing technical support remotely and onsite.
- 5Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- 6Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- 7Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting live events.
