IT Support Specialist, Windows & Enterprise IT ( onsite )
Overview
Own end to end desktop and mobile support for a government client at scale on site in Washington DC. You will deploy and configure devices, assist with collaboration tools, and resolve software and hardware issues to keep a large enterprise environment running smoothly. Work with Windows-based systems, Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365, across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. This role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, strong user communication, and precise asset management.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and deploy new desktops and laptops with required software and security tools for staff in a large government environment
- 2Install, configure, and secure mobile devices including iPads and iPhones and ensure proper enrollment and compliance
- 3Diagnose, research, and resolve issues in Microsoft 365, Adobe, Exchange, Teams, and OneDrive to minimize downtime
- 4Respond to user requests via phone, email, and remote support tools and document all actions taken
- 5Document, track, and monitor issues to ensure timely resolution and maintain accurate asset inventories
- 6Provide printer and copier support including installation, troubleshooting, and consumables replacement
- 7Assist with Cisco Webex and Microsoft Teams setup and connectivity for meetings and events
- 8Support peripheral devices such as keyboards, mice, scanners, printers, and wireless headsets
- 9Follow procedures for asset management and lifecycle tracking of computers, mobile devices, printers, and related equipment
- 10Communicate status updates and progress clearly to end users and IT teammates
Requirements10
- 16years IT Customer Support - onsite experience in a large enterprise or government environment
- 2Proficiency with Windows-based desktop support and software deployment
- 3Experience configuring and deploying mobile devices and enrollment with security compliance
- 4Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, Adobe products, Teams, OneDrive, and email support
- 5Experience with printing devices, copiers, and related consumables
- 6Familiarity with Cisco Webex and conference room collaboration tools
- 7Ability to provide in person, phone, and remote support and maintain clear communication
- 8Experience with asset management and lifecycle tracking for IT equipment
- 9Ability to read technical manuals and use diagnostic tools for hardware and software issues
- 10Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills in a fast, onsite environment
