What You'll Do11
- 1Assess existing vendor contracts to uncover material cost reduction and consolidation opportunities
- 2Execute vendor negotiations and implement SLA redesigns to improve service quality
- 3Perform spend analysis and cost modeling to identify sourcing savings
- 4Manage software and hardware asset portfolios including licensing optimization
- 5Coordinate cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategy with business objectives
- 6Develop AI-assisted contract discovery tools for rapid opportunity identification
- 7Establish and maintain strategic vendor relationships with clear KPIs
- 8Define service level agreements and governance frameworks for vendor accountability
- 9Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to ensure optimal commercial terms
- 10Provide mentorship and build institutional knowledge within the sourcing team
- 11Travel extensively to engage with clients and evaluate technology solutions
Requirements11
- 18-12+ years in IT commercial contracting or vendor management
- 2Proven track record of delivering quantified savings through sourcing initiatives
- 3Certifications in CASM or related software asset management fields
- 4Bachelor's degree in Business IT Law or related discipline
- 5Experience at consulting firms or large technology organizations
- 6Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling and contract negotiation
- 7Ability to travel up to 80% of the time
- 8Familiarity with SAP Oracle Salesforce Microsoft platforms
- 9Understanding of hybrid cloud infrastructure and multi-vendor ecosystems
- 10Experience with AI-driven contract analysis tools
- 11Commitment to developing others through training and knowledge sharing
