
IT Procurement Analyst – Contract, New York
Overview
Support the full IT landscape in New York with financial reporting and contract management. Own the tracking of IT contracts and collaborate with Procurement to ensure seamless renewals. Manage monthly accounting transactions and forecast expenses using advanced Excel modeling. This contract role places you at the center of IT and Procurement operations, driving visibility into spend and operational continuity.
What You'll Do8
- 1Track IT contracts and collaborate with IT and Procurement staff to ensure renewals are processed without service interruption.
- 2Forecast and track actual expenses, relying on Excel expertise for daily model updates.
- 3Handle monthly accounting transactions, including accruals and reconciliations.
- 4Support the IT Department, IT Divisions, and Agencies with financial reporting across the full IT landscape.
- 5Build and maintain financial models in Excel to monitor budget vs. actuals.
- 6Coordinate with vendors to confirm contract terms and renewal dates.
- 7Produce monthly financial summaries for IT leadership, highlighting variances and risks.
- 8Assist in preparing annual budget inputs for IT and Procurement.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in IT procurement or financial analysis within an IT environment.
- 2Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
- 3Experience tracking and managing IT contracts and renewals.
- 4Strong understanding of monthly accounting processes, including accruals and journal entries.
- 5Ability to work onsite in New York, NY.
- 6Proven collaboration with Procurement and IT teams.
- 7High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- 8Experience with financial forecasting and budget variance analysis.
