IT Asset Management Associate, ServiceNow – Peraton
Overview
You will manage IT asset records and reporting for the DOL ITOM program, ensuring accuracy in ServiceNow throughout each asset's lifecycle. You will join a collaborative team, interfacing with stakeholders, service desk, and operations teams. This role offers hands-on work with hardware logistics and inventory scanning. What You'll Do7
- 1Maintain asset records in ServiceNow from receipt to disposal, updating tickets and request queues.
- 2Unbox, box, and ship IT equipment, coordinating with hardware vendors for deliveries and returns.
- 3Pick up, distribute, and prepare equipment for disposal, following data security protocols.
- 4Process inventory using scanning tools and ensure accurate physical counts.
- 5Support the asset management team with reporting and ad-hoc requests.
- 6Collaborate with service desk and operations to resolve asset-related issues.
- 7Own asset lifecycle documentation, flagging discrepancies immediately.
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor's degree with 0+ years experience or high school diploma/GED with 4+ years experience.
- 2U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- 3Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for inventory tracking and reporting.
- 4Ability to lift 25 lbs of IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, and monitors.
- 5Preferred: Experience in IT asset management, familiar with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools.
- 6Preferred: Proven customer service skills with internal and external stakeholders.
