ISO Implementation Specialist, Quality Management
Overview
You will own the ISO 9001 implementation at a metal roll forming facility in Dallas, overseeing the full certification lifecycle. You will build the Quality Management System (QMS) from the ground up, align it with corporate standards, and achieve certification through external bodies. You will partner with plant leadership, operations, and quality teams to embed compliance into daily workflows. You will drive continuous improvement through internal audits, training, and KPI tracking. This role offers the chance to shape quality culture across a multi-site operation with 25% travel.
What You'll Do9
- 1Lead the ISO 9001 implementation plan across the facility, from gap analysis to certification.
- 2Develop and document site-specific QMS procedures, work instructions, and policies.
- 3Coordinate with external certification bodies to secure ISO 9001 certification.
- 4Conduct internal audits, gap analyses, and management reviews to ensure compliance.
- 5Track nonconformities and drive corrective and preventive actions to closure.
- 6Deliver training and coaching to staff on ISO 9001 requirements and best practices.
- 7Establish and report QMS KPIs to senior leadership, tracking progress and certification status.
- 8Support supplier audits where ISO 9001 compliance impacts product quality.
- 9Integrate ISO 9001 principles into daily workflows with plant managers and quality teams.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Quality-related field.
- 23-5 years experience in ISO 9001 implementation, certification, or auditing.
- 3ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification strongly preferred.
- 4Proven success building or maintaining multi-site QMS frameworks.
- 5Strong project management skills, meeting deadlines across multiple facilities.
- 6Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to train and influence cross-functional teams.
- 7Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies a plus.
- 8Willingness to travel up to 25%.

$55 - $70k per year
