What You'll Do11
- 1Install maintain and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems
- 2Diagnose leaks electrical faults pressure problems and controller malfunctions
- 3Program and adjust irrigation controllers for optimal water efficiency
- 4Schedule system start‑ups in spring and winterization in fall
- 5Read and interpret site plans blueprints and irrigation layouts
- 6Communicate findings recommendations and service needs to clients
- 7Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- 8Operate company vehicles tools and equipment safely
- 9Collaborate with landscape crews and project managers
- 10Obtain backflow certification or irrigation technician certification
- 11Lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work in trenches uneven terrain
Requirements10
- 1Previous irrigation or landscape maintenance experience preferred
- 2Strong understanding of valves controllers piping heads and wiring
- 3Ability to troubleshoot independently
- 4Valid driver’s license with clean record
- 5Excellent communication and customer service skills
- 6Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather
- 7Experience with PPE and safety regulations
- 8E‑Verify participation required for employment
- 9Legal authorization to work in the United States
- 102 years irrigation experience preferred
