IPQA Quality Inspector Dallas
Overview
We are seeking an IPQA Quality Inspector in Wilmer, TX to own quality inspections and audits on the production line. This role involves performing lab tests and ensuring compliance with T1 Energy’s Quality Management System. The ideal candidate will support quality initiatives and contribute to a safe working environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Conduct routine quality inspections and audits on the production line to ensure compliance with T1 Energy’s Quality Management System and technical specifications
- 2Perform various lab tests on in-process samples such as tensile strength and chemical tests according to the sampling plan
- 3Identify isolate and properly label non-conforming products and materials
- 4Read and interpret technical documents and specifications
- 5Operate and maintain precision measurement tools such as calipers micrometers and gauges
- 6Prepare and process samples for laboratory testing
- 7Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of lab equipment and inspection tools
- 8Record inspection results accurately and enter data into the quality management database
- 9Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment
- 10Support other quality-related tasks and special projects as assigned
Requirements11
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 2Prior QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- 3Familiarity with basic laboratory and inspection techniques
- 4Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Word and Excel
- 5Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints
- 6Skilled in using inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers
- 7Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 8Comfortable standing for long periods during 12-hour shifts
- 9Visual acuity to distinguish colors and fine details
- 10Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- 11Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends
Salary Insight
$46 - $50k per year
