What You'll Do9

  • 1Stock, organize, and replenish OR supplies to maintain PAR levels and prevent shortages.
  • 2Monitor inventory data to adjust PAR levels with OR coordinators and managers.
  • 3Order, receive, inspect, and distribute surgical supplies, implants, and specialty items.
  • 4Remove expired, damaged, or recalled items promptly and manage returns.
  • 5Track implants using the UDI tracker and review OR booking sheets for supply planning.
  • 6Process Bill Only requisitions within time frames and monitor STAT requisitions to control costs.
  • 7Resolve back orders by collaborating with the clinical team for approved substitutes.
  • 8Conduct documented inventory audits and rounding to ensure accuracy.
  • 9Support emergency supply requests and maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Requirements9

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 21-2 years of hospital supply chain operations experience preferred.
  • 3Working knowledge of healthcare inventory systems and supply management software.
  • 4Knowledge of surgical supplies and sterile procedures.
  • 5Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • 6Ability to use current technology for job responsibilities.
  • 7Proficiency in Excel and inventory tracking.
  • 8Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • 9Full-time availability: Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm.
