Intervention Manager LA Promise Fund
Overview
The Intervention Manager leads a positive inclusive learning environment for grades six through twelve at LA Promise Fund. This full-time non-exempt role involves supporting behavioral systems promoting student accountability and fostering strong relationships with students families and staff. Responsibilities include implementing tier one and two behavior interventions monitoring data and responding to trends providing de-escalation support using restorative practices conducting uniform checks facilitating family communication and leading student conferences. The role collaborates with teachers counselors and administrators to develop behavior support plans supports restorative practices and maintains documentation. What You'll Do19
- 1Implement tier one and tier two behavior interventions aligned with the school discipline framework while monitoring student behavior data and responding proactively to trends
- 2Provide real-time de-escalation support to students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges using restorative practices and conflict resolution strategies
- 3Conduct consistent uniform checks to ensure all students meet dress code expectations addressing non compliance with clarity
- 4Initiate and maintain regular communication with families through phone calls and meetings to address behavioral concerns share progress and collaborate on solutions
- 5Facilitate student conferences and lead one-on-one behavior coaching sessions including goal setting progress monitoring and skill building in self regulation and decision making
- 6Supervise students throughout the campus during key times to ensure safety and reinforce expectations
- 7Collaborate with teachers counselors and administrators to develop and implement behavior support plans for individuals and groups
- 8Support restorative practices such as mediations re entry meetings and reflection processes after behavioral incidents
- 9Maintain accurate documentation of behavioral incidents interventions and family communications
- 10Intervene to prevent student to student conflicts that could lead to physical altercations
- 11Assist with organizing school-wide culture initiatives incentives and recognition programs reinforcing positive behavior
- 12Provide professional support to staff on classroom management strategies and effective responses to student behavior
- 13Participate in crisis response ensuring student safety and adherence to school protocols
- 14Monitor and support common areas to maintain a safe and orderly environment
- 15Model and reinforce core values expectations and commitment to fairness
- 16Serve on SART Team to conduct home visits and follow up on individual student intervention plans
- 17Support parent engagement through town halls coffee with principal parent college awareness workshops and recruitment events
- 18Participate in health and wellness programs

Requirements14
- 1High School Diploma required Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2Strong organizational skills with ability to create accurate records
- 3Demonstrated success working with students from educationally underserved areas
- 4Current CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to complete within 30 days
- 5Knowledge of restorative practices PBIS or other behavior support frameworks
- 6Familiarity with MS Office products such as Word Excel and Outlook
- 7Ability to interpret and enforce rules and regulations according to varying situations
- 8Commitment to LA Promise Fund mission and core values of integrity accountability collaboration professionalism excellence diversity and fairness
- 9Clear LiveScan criminal background check
- 10TB Risk Assessment completed
- 11Mandated Reporter training
- 12Bilingual Spanish preferred
- 13School security experience preferred relevant experience considered
- 14Ability to perform well under pressure and resolve matters with discretion and diplomacy
