Integration Technician Job in Los Angeles | GST
Overview
You will own the end-to-end integration and deployment of enterprise hardware solutions, including servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure, for clients in government, education, healthcare, and aerospace. Working with HP, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, and Intel equipment, you'll transform COTS hardware into customer-ready systems. What You'll Do9
- 1Build, configure, and test enterprise servers and storage arrays, installing components like CPUs, memory, SSDs, RAID controllers, and NICs.
- 2Diagnose and repair hardware faults in servers, workstations, and networking gear, using OEM documentation and your own troubleshooting skills.
- 3Validate system performance with quality assurance checks, ensuring each unit meets deployment readiness criteria.
- 4Integrate racks with servers, switches, and cabling for data center and server room projects.
- 5Document configurations, repair logs, and test results in internal systems and Microsoft Excel.
- 6Track and inventory equipment, applying asset tags and updating status records.
- 7Prepare integrated systems for shipment, securing components and ensuring safe packaging.
- 8Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines, providing status updates and escalating issues.
- 9Adhere to ESD safety procedures and quality standards in all integration tasks.
Requirements9
- 13+ years of hands-on experience repairing or deploying enterprise hardware like servers, storage, and workstations.
- 2Practical experience with HP, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, or Intel enterprise equipment.
- 3Strong troubleshooting skills for server, storage, and network hardware.
- 4Experience installing components such as CPUs, memory, and RAID controllers.
- 5Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office for documentation and inventory tracking.
- 6Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
- 7Valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
- 8Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and pass a background check and drug screening.
- 9Flexibility for overtime and early morning shifts.
