Overview

The Intake Coordinator serves as the first connection point for new clients at the JFCS Squirrel Hill Food Pantry. This full-time role enrolls families in food assistance while assessing additional needs and referring clients to the Success Coaching team when appropriate. The position supports operational efficiency by inputting data into Link2Feed and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to enhance service delivery.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Conduct intake interviews and input client information into the Link2Feed database
  • 2Collect data on additional assistance required beyond food
  • 3Provide navigation support to external resources and Success Coaching team
  • 4Refer clients to Success Coaching for rigorous case management when suitable
  • 5Develop volunteer training protocols focusing on privacy conversational techniques
  • 6Monitor pantry client trends including language preferences and dietary needs
  • 7Assist with community outreach events and monthly volunteer commitments
  • 8Support pantry operations through front desk coverage and client shopping
  • 9Contribute to program outcome development and professional growth activities

Requirements5

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 23-5 seasons leading diverse teams in social impact initiatives
  • 3CPC Card certification preferred
  • 4AWS Certified cloud fundamentals
  • 5BCBA credential valued
