You will own insurance verification for Total Orthopedics & Sports Medicine across Long Island, ensuring every patient's coverage is confirmed before appointments. Requirements6
- 11+ year experience in insurance verification, authorizations, or related healthcare administrative role.
- 2Strong knowledge of NY insurance plans including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial policies.
- 3Understanding of Medicare Part B benefits and Medicare Advantage plans.
- 4Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT coding.
- 5Proficiency with insurance portals, EMR, and Microsoft Office.
- 6Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.
