Instrumentation Specialist, Water & Wastewater
Overview
You will install, calibrate, and repair water and wastewater instrumentation across Indiana for the industry leader in premium equipment. Your work directly ensures accurate flow monitoring and sampling for municipal and industrial clients. You will join a two-person field team with comprehensive on-the-job training and career advancement. This role offers travel throughout Indiana, no weekends or on-call, and full benefits starting day one.
What You'll Do7
- 1Install and calibrate instrumentation for water and wastewater systems in municipal and industrial settings.
- 2Troubleshoot and repair electronic sensors, process controls, and related equipment on-site.
- 3Build custom flow monitoring and sampling equipment installations from mechanical and electrical components.
- 4Use CRM software to enter accurate technical records for teams and customers.
- 5Follow safety protocols for confined space entry in manholes with provided safety equipment.
- 6Coordinate with your two-person team to plan daily routes and job sequences across Indiana.
- 7Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle to ensure readiness for field operations.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma required; trade certification or associate's degree preferred.
- 2Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 3Comfort with confined space entry in 24-inch diameter manholes.
- 4Ability to pass random and ongoing drug screening tests.
- 5Mechanical, electrical, or construction aptitude for custom installations.
- 6Strong written and verbal communication for customer interactions and records.
- 7Willingness to travel overnight periodically and use per diem accommodations.
