Inpatient Pediatric Registered Dietitian PRN
Overview
The Registered Dietitian Clinical facilitates nutrition care processes to deliver quality medical nutrition therapy for disease states and promote wellness. This role offers flexible coverage across inpatient units at Primary Children’s Salt Lake and Lehi. Candidates with relevant experience may be hired as Registered Dietitian Clinical or Clinical Specialist.

- 1Provide nutrition care to diverse patient populations using the Nutrition Care Process
- 2Conduct nutrition assessments and document findings
- 3Interpret laboratory values and develop nutrition diagnoses
- 4Implement evidence-based interventions and nutrition education tailored to patient needs
- 5Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly
- 6Collaborate with healthcare providers and refer patients to specialty dietitians when appropriate
- 7Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the clinical team
- 8Maintain accurate records and adhere to documentation standards
- 9Operate monitoring equipment and manage complex nutritional supplies
- 10Communicate effectively with patients providers and internal stakeholders
- 11Drive operational efficiency through proactive problem solving
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2CPC Card certification required
- 35+ years experience with AWS services
- 43-5 seasons in clinical dietetics
- 5ACEND accreditation for dietetics education
- 6State licensure matching primary practice location
- 7Master's degree from accredited institution
- 8Proven ability to interpret research and apply to clinical practice
- 9Minimum 2 years clinical dietetics experience preferred
- 10Valid driver's license for on-site vehicle operation
