Overview

You will own data ingestion and analysis for U.S. Bank's infrastructure and cloud systems, turning raw operational data into insights that drive technology strategy and risk management. What You'll Do10

  • 1Design and develop data ingestion processes from infrastructure monitoring platforms, CMDB, cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
  • 2Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to cleanse, transform, validate, and enrich data from disparate technology systems.
  • 3Automate recurring data collection and processing activities using Python and Alteryx workflows.
  • 4Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data models to support analytics and reporting.
  • 5Analyze infrastructure and operational data to identify trends, risks, performance issues, and optimization opportunities.
  • 6Create executive reporting and KPI dashboards using Power BI or similar visualization tools.
  • 7Develop API integrations and automated workflows that reduce manual effort and improve data timeliness.
  • 8Follow SDLC and Agile practices, managing source code in GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps with branching and pull requests.
  • 9Develop CI/CD deployment pipelines and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and deployment procedures.
  • 10Ensure data governance, security, and compliance, including data lineage and metadata documentation.

Requirements10

  • 15-7 years of statistical and/or data analytics experience, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3Advanced SQL skills for complex queries, stored procedures, and data modeling.
  • 4Proficiency in Python for data extraction, transformation, automation, and API integrations.
  • 5Hands-on experience with Alteryx for data preparation and analytics automation.
  • 6Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.
  • 7Experience with Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, or enterprise data platforms.
  • 8Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring platforms like Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, or ServiceNow.
  • 9Experience with CI/CD tools and release automation.
  • 10Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
