Overview

The Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) assists in establishing and maintaining security programs for classified information systems. This full-time role requires a bachelor's degree and extensive experience. The ISSM advises management on security matters and interfaces with DCSA. Candidates must hold a CAP CISM or CISSP certification and have active TS/SCI clearance.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Develop and oversee the classified Information System Security Program (ISSP)
  • 2Ensure compliance with NISPOM DAAG RMF and CSA guidance
  • 3Establish policies and technical standards for classified systems
  • 4Coordinate Preparation of System Security Plans SARs and Plan of Action Milestones
  • 5Support Authorization to Operate activities and maintain eMASS packages
  • 6Verify controls effectiveness and manage Continuous Monitoring programs
  • 7Conduct vulnerability scans and audit log reviews
  • 8Partner with IT teams for configuration change approvals and user management
  • 9Provide cybersecurity training and insider threat awareness
  • 10Interface with DCSA and other government agencies
  • 11Drive continuous monitoring and remediation activities

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's degree with 10-12 years experience
  • 2Minimum 5 years leading a team or managerial role
  • 3U.S. citizenship with active TS/SCI eligibility
  • 45+ years experience in classified information systems
  • 5CAP CISM or CISSP certification required
  • 6Proficiency with Secure Internet Protocol Network establishment and maintenance
  • 7Strong background in certification processes and security plan writing
  • 8Experience with WASSP MBSA tools
  • 9Ability to conduct self-inspections per 32 CFR §117.18
  • 10Knowledge of insider threat programs and coordination with FSO
