What You'll Do11
- 1Build a positive, trusting relationship with each child and family through daily communication in a warm and supportive manner
- 2Provide consistent, nurturing interactions using positive techniques to engage each child
- 3Ensure individualized care that supports children's health and safety at all times
- 4Design and implement daily activities based on child needs and interests to stimulate learning across all developmental domains
- 5Plan and execute engaging lessons using the Creative Curriculum and Orange Curriculum to foster holistic growth
- 6Assess developmental progress with the Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment tool and communicate findings to families
- 7Collaborate with leadership and early intervention professionals to connect families with necessary resources
- 8Engage with classroom volunteers to enhance teaching quality and maintain high standards of care
- 9Maintain accurate records and uphold classroom and building safety and appearance
- 10Stay current with Colorado licensing regulations and health/safety guidelines
- 11Participate in ongoing professional development to refine teaching practices and ensure quality education
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field with 36+ college credits preferred
- 2Colorado State Child Care Licensing educational qualification standards met
- 3PDIS Level 3 Credential and Infant Nursery Supervisor Credential required or obtainable within six months
- 4Ability to lift infants and young toddlers safely
- 5Proven experience working with children from infancy to five years old
- 6Familiarity with Colorado licensing and health regulations
- 7Commitment to supporting teen moms and families in a collaborative environment
