Overview
As a Property Associate at JLL, you will own the administrative and financial backbone of an industrial portfolio, handling tenant requests, invoices, and records from day one. You will work with Yardi or similar property management software and coordinate with vendors to keep operations running. This entry-level role puts you on a team of experienced professionals in commercial real estate, offering a clear path to grow. You will be the primary point of contact for tenants, ensuring their needs are met with speed and accuracy.
What You'll Do8
- 1Resolve tenant maintenance requests by dispatching vendors and tracking work orders to completion, using Yardi to log activities.
- 2Process accounts payable and receivable, including coding invoices and managing certificates of insurance, ensuring financial accuracy.
- 3Maintain property records and databases, updating lease documents and tenant files with precision.
- 4Prepare monthly reports on property performance, summarizing financials and operational metrics for senior management.
- 5Coordinate tenant move-ins, handling paperwork and communication to ensure a smooth transition.
- 6Support tenant events and community engagement programs, enhancing the tenant experience and building relationships.
- 7Back up reception duties and mail distribution, keeping office operations seamless.
- 8Assist with vendor coordination, scheduling routine maintenance and emergency repairs to meet service level agreements.
Requirements8
- 11-2 years of work experience in an office environment, preferably in commercial real estate or property management.
- 21-2 years of customer-facing experience, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- 3Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Communications, or a related field.
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial reporting.
- 5Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software.
- 6Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- 7Positive attitude and eagerness to grow within the commercial real estate industry.
- 8Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
