Overview
Own facility upkeep and equipment moves for a 4-month project in City of Industry, CA. What You'll Do10
- 1Relocate industrial fixtures and equipment, including shelving, cabinets, workbenches, and furniture.
- 2Assemble and install warehouse racking and shelving systems using power tools.
- 3Install new furniture and equipment to support facility projects.
- 4Move product inventory and materials across the facility safely.
- 5Perform general building upkeep and facility maintenance tasks.
- 6Complete basic repairs and maintenance projects as assigned.
- 7Operate hand tools and power tools like drills, saws, and wrenches.
- 8Work safely around forklifts and industrial vehicles, maintaining situational awareness.
- 9Follow all facility and industrial safety procedures, keeping the work area clean and organized.
- 10Collaborate with the maintenance team while also working independently.
Requirements8
- 11+ years experience in industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse maintenance environments.
- 2Comfortable working around operating machinery, forklifts, and industrial vehicles.
- 3Hands-on maintenance, installation, or mechanical project experience preferred.
- 4Proficient with common hand and power tools.
- 5Ability to lift 50+ lbs independently and 100+ lbs with a team.
- 6Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and kneeling throughout the shift.
- 7Strong safety awareness and hazard recognition in an industrial setting.
- 8Dependable attendance and punctuality with a professional attitude.
