What You'll Do11
- 1Lead the scale‑up of laboratory‑developed chemical reaction processes into pilot and production‑scale operations
- 2Develop scale‑up methodologies process models and engineering calculations for commercialization
- 3Design specify and commission reactors mixing systems and associated equipment
- 4Evaluate reaction kinetics mass transfer heat transfer mixing and fluid flow during scale‑up
- 5Conduct process hazard analyses and risk assessments for hazardous chemical operations
- 6Establish safe operating limits and process control strategies for industrial‑scale reactions
- 7Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause investigations related to performance yield quality and equipment reliability
- 8Collaborate with chemists technicians operations personnel and leadership to optimize manufacturing processes
- 9Develop batch records work instructions SOPs and manufacturing documentation
- 10Support facility design equipment installation commissioning and operational qualification activities
- 11Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and regulatory standards
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 25+ years experience scaling chemical reaction processes from bench or pilot scale to commercial production
- 3Strong background in industrial wet chemistry operations involving hazardous chemicals
- 4Experience commissioning and operating pilot plants or chemical production facilities
- 5Knowledge of process safety management PSM hazard analysis methodologies and chemical process safety principles
- 6Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- 7Familiarity with batch and continuous manufacturing processes
- 8Exposure to highly corrosive toxic reactive or oxidizing chemical systems
- 9Experience with capital equipment procurement facility design and manufacturing scale‑up programs
