What You'll Do9
- 1Notify appropriate departments of patient progress and de-escalate conflicts adhering to facility policies and mission
- 2Review scripts insurance cards and orders cancel exams as needed using scheduling software
- 3Operate office equipment and release CD images/reports securely following HIPAA guidelines
- 4Attend department meetings promote positive dialogue and document communications
- 5Answer phones greet patients provide registration services collect co-payments and scan paperwork
- 6Communicate results with physicians and relay messages during system downtime
- 7Handle upset patients and families with professionalism and calmness
- 8Maintain confidentiality and act as first point of contact for outpatients
- 9Process confidential information and collaborate with physician office staff
Requirements8
- 1High school graduate or equivalent required with one year of medical office and radiology experience
- 2Basic Life Support CPR certification preferred
- 3Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn healthcare systems quickly
- 4Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent customer service abilities
- 5Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in fast-paced environment
- 6Experience with patient registration systems and HIPAA compliance
- 7Physical stamina to stand and move throughout the workday
- 8Willingness to work full-time day shift in United States location
