HVAC Technician in Seattle, WA
Overview
You own the maintenance and repair of all facility HVAC systems at a cutting-edge satellite communications facility. 5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience with EPA License gets you in the door. You'll work alongside a dedicated facilities team, tackling air handlers, chilled water systems, pumps, cooling towers, and more. What You'll Do6
- 1Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including air handlers, chilled water systems, pumps, cooling towers, valves, and filters.
- 2Execute preventative maintenance on all facility HVAC systems to ensure peak performance.
- 3Fabricate and repair ductwork, piping, insulation, and mechanical components as needed.
- 4Perform brazing, soldering, refrigerant evacuation, and charging following EPA standards.
- 5Comply with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC, and company safety protocols on every task.
- 6Document work orders and maintenance logs to track system health and compliance.
Requirements7
- 15+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical systems.
- 2EPA License and Refrigerant Certification.
- 3Proficiency with AHUs, HEPA filtration, pumps, compressors, and refrigeration systems.
- 4Hands-on skills in brazing, soldering, and refrigerant handling.
- 5Knowledge of electrical safety, piping, and mechanical maintenance.
- 6Preferred: HVAC degree or technical training.
- 7Preferred: Universal EPA/ARI certification.
