What You'll Do8

  • 1Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and mini-splits, using ohmmeters and schematics.
  • 2Perform preventative maintenance on boilers, refrigeration equipment, and tanked or tankless water heaters.
  • 3Install new HVAC components or appliances following design specifications and codes.
  • 4Weld or replace parts to ensure optimal system performance and safety.
  • 5Conduct service calls for system malfunctions or property maintenance issues.
  • 6Document all work accurately in service records and communicate repair recommendations to clients.
  • 7Assist with ammonia refrigeration systems and specialized equipment requiring advanced technical skills.
  • 8Train junior technicians on proper installation practices and diagnostic procedures as needed.

Requirements7

  • 15+ years of HVAC service experience diagnosing heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and mini-splits.
  • 22+ years of installation experience with knowledge of proper installation codes and practices.
  • 3Experience with tanked, tankless, and heat pump water heaters.
  • 4NATE Core Certification required within 1 year of employment (company-paid).
  • 5Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • 6Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
  • 7Experience with Carrier Infinity or Trane Communicating equipment is a plus.
