HVAC Sales Representative, HVAC Controls & Vendors & New York City
Overview
The role owns HVAC sales activity in the NY metro area, driving order intake and customer satisfaction at two Power-Flo locations. You will write orders, maintain vendor relationships, and support assigned accounts from inquiry through delivery and beyond. You will collaborate with branch teams to ensure service excellence and uncover new opportunities through field visits and calls. This position combines hands-on sales, product knowledge, and relationship management to grow the HVAC controls business.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and write orders for HVAC controls and related products
- 2Develop and maintain vendor relationships to secure favorable terms and availability
- 3Maintain relationships with assigned customer base including key accounts to ensure satisfaction
- 4Collaborate with branch teams to deliver excellent customer service from order to delivery
- 5Schedule outside appointments with customers to review applications and identify opportunities
- 6Assist customers during sales inquiries to drive repeat business
- 7Accurately enter customer orders and maintain product knowledge and promotions
- 8Suggest alternative products when appropriate to meet customer needs
- 9Expedite open orders and process product returns per procedures
- 10Monitor sales trends and product performance to inform actions
Requirements6
- 12+ years of HVAC sales experience
- 2HVAC product and vendor knowledge
- 3Clear written and verbal communication
- 4Strong customer service orientation
- 5High school diploma or equivalent
- 6Valid and clean driver’s license for travel in LI/NYC area
