Overview

HVAC Project Manager owner of multi site commercial projects in Southern California. You will manage project execution, schedule, budgeting, and client relationships from kickoff to closeout. Work closely with senior leadership and field operations in a hands on role. You will engage with foremen and subcontractors to keep projects on track and compliant.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Build and manage multiple commercial HVAC and tenant improvement projects from kickoff to closeout
  • 2Review and interpret mechanical plans specifications and contract documents to guide project execution
  • 3Develop and manage project budgets schedules and forecasts to meet financial targets
  • 4Coordinate field activities with supervision subcontractors and foremen to ensure on time completion
  • 5Track RFIs submittals and change orders and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • 6Lead procurement takeoffs and vendor/subcontractor pricing selections to meet project scope
  • 7Maintain strong client relationships by providing clear communication and issue resolution
  • 8Monitor project risks and implement proactive mitigation plans
  • 9Close out projects with final documentation lessons learned and financial reconciliation

Requirements10

  • 15+ years of commercial HVAC or mechanical construction experience
  • 2Demonstrated experience managing commercial or tenant improvement projects
  • 3Strong understanding of HVAC mechanical construction and related systems
  • 4Working knowledge of job cost controls scheduling budgeting and change management
  • 5Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans specifications and contracts
  • 6Experience with project takeoffs procurement and vendor coordination
  • 7Strong proficiency with Excel and project documentation
  • 8Bluebeam and/or Procore experience preferred
  • 9Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 10Bachelor's degree in construction management mechanical engineering or related field (preferred)
