Human Resources Manager Phenix Label Company
Overview
Lead and administer all aspects of the Human Resources function at Phenix Label Company ensuring compliance and fostering a positive workplace culture. Oversee talent acquisition workforce planning performance management compensation benefits leave management training development HR compliance HRIS administration and employee engagement. Report to the CFO and collaborate with leadership to develop and retain a skilled workforce.
What You'll Do9
- 1Lead Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning by managing recruitment onboarding staffing succession planning and employee development initiatives
- 2Ensure Employment Law Compliance by administering HR policies and programs while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal state and local regulations
- 3Manage Employee Relations & Performance by coaching leaders conducting investigations resolving workplace issues and administering performance management processes
- 4Administer Compensation Benefits & Leave Programs including benefits administration payroll support FMLA ADA workers compensation unemployment and other employee leave programs
- 5Oversee HR Operations & HRIS by maintaining personnel records administering the HRIS preparing reports and metrics protecting confidential information and improving HR processes
- 6Develop Employees & Organizational Culture by coordinating training employee communications recognition programs engagement initiatives and leadership development
- 7Support Safety & Risk Management by promoting workplace safety regulatory compliance wellness initiatives and workers compensation administration
- 8Partner with Leadership to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support organizational objectives employee engagement operational effectiveness and continuous improvement
- 9Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements17
- 1Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources Business or Organization Development or equivalent
- 2Masters degree preferred
- 35 + years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources management
- 4Specialized training in employment law compensation organizational planning employee relations safety training and preventive labor relations preferred
- 5Professional HR certification such as PHR SPHR SHRM CP preferred
- 6General knowledge of employment laws and practices
- 7Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other HR programs
- 8Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment including Excel and database management and record keeping
- 9Effective oral and written communication skills
- 10High level of confidentiality demonstrated
- 11Physical ability to talk hear sit use hands and fingers and occasional standing walking reaching climbing balancing stooping kneeling or crouching
- 12Close vision abilities required
- 13Face-to-face discussions with individuals and teams
- 14Decision making without supervision with serious consequences for co-workers customers or the company
