HSE Manager, Health Safety & Environmental Programs
Overview
You will own health, safety, and environmental programs for small to medium-sized clients at CBRE, directly shaping compliance and risk strategies. You'll work within the Environment Health and Safety function, collaborating with operations and management to drive a proactive safety culture. This role offers the chance to influence stakeholders and implement programs that protect employees and communities. You will manage initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and track operational risks, making a measurable impact on safety outcomes.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build a positive safety culture by engaging stakeholders and modeling CBRE RISE values.
- 2Implement and review safety playbooks and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
- 3Drive health, safety, and environmental initiatives to meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
- 4Track operational and safety risks, monitoring injury, illness, and incident reports to identify prevention opportunities.
- 5Develop strategic risk management strategies to avoid potential incidents.
- 6Monitor regulatory compliance within the account and collaborate with management on improvement plans.
- 7Communicate findings, concerns, and deficiencies to functional managers, influencing shared-interest agreements.
- 8Resolve day-to-day and moderately complex safety issues in existing systems and processes.
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 23-5 years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environment.
- 3Additional certifications as required by local authority (e.g., CSP, CHMM).
- 4Ability to guide sensitive, complicated, and difficult information exchanges.
- 5Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality and effectiveness.
- 6In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook.
