What You'll Do9
- 1Manage housekeeping and laundry staff including scheduling and performance reviews
- 2Conduct inventory of supplies and place orders within budget constraints
- 3Coordinate lost article investigations with proper documentation
- 4Ensure resident rooms and common areas maintain clean safe environments
- 5Perform daily inspections of rooms and exterior facilities
- 6Collaborate with central supply to manage laundry billing and inventory
- 7Provide written and oral reports on department operations
- 8Implement corrective actions promptly when issues arise
- 9Maintain compliance with healthcare facility policies and procedures
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2One year managerial experience in environmental services preferred in healthcare
- 3Prior experience in long-term care facilities
- 4Physical ability to lift weight climb and move whole body
- 5Strong organizational problem solving skills
- 6Excellent English communication abilities
- 7Basic computer literacy and learning capability
- 8Understanding of workplace safety protocols
