Overview
The Hourly Shift Coordinator (HSC) leads restaurant operations focusing on sales and profit results while ensuring guest experience and staff development. This role supports the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager during assigned shifts driving performance outcomes across profitability guest service and people management. Unique to this position you will own shift execution and team leadership.
What You'll Do10
- 1Follows all cash control and security procedures such as safe counting and cash drawer management.
- 2Performs daily and weekly inventory inspections and receives orders from inventory trucks.
- 3Motivates and directs team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate fast and friendly service in clean surroundings.
- 4Provides coaching and feedback to enhance team capabilities and restaurant performance.
- 5Sets an example by working hard to implement shift plans and drive operational results.
- 6Directs efficient product preparation and sale to meet speed-of-service guidelines.
- 7Motivates team members during shifts at each workstation.
- 8Reviews restaurant results to identify successes and areas for improvement.
- 9Ensures adherence to all operational and brand standards.
- 10Performs duties of a Team Member when necessary.
Requirements6
- 1Must be at least eighteen years old.
- 2High school diploma or GED required with two years of college preferred.
- 3One to two years of quick-service restaurant experience.
- 4Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
- 5Available to work evenings weekends and holidays.
- 6Ability to work long and irregular shifts as needed.
