The Hourly Shift Coordinator (HSC) leads restaurant operations focusing on profitability Guest service and people development. This role supports the Restaurant General Manager managing a single location with a team of 15-25 staff members. The position offers direct oversight and drives key performance outcomes.
What You'll Do10
- 1Manage inventory costs through daily weekly and monthly inventory inspections
- 2Place and receive inventory truck orders
- 3Maintain and monitor all restaurant assets
- 4Ensure preventative maintenance of facilities and equipment according to company standards
- 5Follow cash control and security procedures including safe counting and secure drawers
- 6Motivate team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate fast and friendly service
- 7Provide coaching and feedback to Shifts Coordinators and staff to improve capabilities
- 8Direct team toward efficient product preparation and sales for prompt delivery
- 9Uphold operational and brand standards during shift coverage
- 10Perform duties when necessary
Requirements9
- 1Minimum age of eighteen years
- 2High School Diploma or GED required
- 3Two years of college education preferred
- 4One to two years of quick service restaurant experience with management preference
- 5Understanding of profit and loss interpretation
- 6Proven leadership abilities
- 7Knowledge of guest service principles
- 8Availability for evening weekend and holiday shifts
- 9Ability to work long irregular shifts
