What You'll Do10
- 1Greet every guest with a warm smile and manage the waitlist efficiently during peak dinner and brunch service.
- 2Coordinate seating rotations across the dining room, balancing server sections and guest preferences in real time.
- 3Handle phone reservations and guest inquiries with clarity and professionalism, ensuring accurate booking details.
- 4Support the service team by anticipating guest needs, from special requests to VIP arrivals, during high-volume hours.
- 5Maintain a clean and organized host stand, updating reservation systems and seating charts as service progresses.
- 6Communicate wait times and seating updates to guests with poise, turning potential frustration into positive experiences.
- 7Collaborate with the floor manager to adjust seating flow during rush periods, keeping tables turning without overcrowding.
- 8Uphold Guest First standards, resolving conflicts gracefully and escalating issues only when necessary.
- 9Assist with brunch service on weekends, adapting to a different pace while maintaining the same level of attentive service.
- 10Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits, building rapport with regulars and new guests alike.

- 11+ years hosting in an upscale casual restaurant, with a proven ability to manage a busy floor.
