We are seeking a full time HOST/HOSTESS to lead seating and guest experiences at The Huntington Library. What You'll Do6
- 1Promptly greet and direct guests to tables based on availability or preferences
- 2Supervise food-service associates to uphold service quality and sanitation standards
- 3Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers and beverage machines safely
- 4Assist with opening/closing dining rooms and manage side work logistics
- 5Drive operational efficiency through process improvements and team leadership
- 6Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and follow emergency evacuation procedures
Requirements5
- 1One year of hospitality or customer service experience
- 2Proficiency with OpenTable platform
- 3Strong communication skills and ability to handle dynamic situations
- 4Experience with POS systems and food-handling regulations
