What You'll Do7
- 1Greet and seat guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, managing the flow of the front door during peak service hours
- 2Master the reservation system to optimize table turns and balance walk-in traffic, with precision on Friday-Sunday AM and PM shifts
- 3Coordinate with servers and bussers to ensure smooth seating transitions, maintaining a clean and inviting host stand and lobby
- 4Handle phone inquiries with clear, articulate communication, answering questions about menus, hours, and reservations while conveying a sense of calm
- 5Manage waitlists and guest expectations during rush periods, offering accurate time estimates and ensuring a seamless experience
- 6Uphold LMNO's high standards of cleanliness and organization, from menus to entryway, to reflect the restaurant's coastal aesthetic
- 7Collaborate with the management team to resolve guest concerns swiftly, turning potential issues into moments of delight
Requirements6
- 11+ years experience as a Host or Maitre d in a high-volume restaurant
- 2Sincere sense of hospitality and a warm, engaging personality
- 3Genuine nature, able to comfortably engage in natural dialogue with guests
- 4Exacting attention to the cleanliness of the host area and its surrounding environment
- 5Ability to speak clearly and articulately on the telephone, providing information and answering questions for callers while focusing on etiquette and conveying a sense of calm
- 6Friday-Sunday AM and PM availability
