What You'll Do8

- 3Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise gait training manual therapy and balance retraining
- 4Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs safety techniques and adaptive strategies
- 5Accurately document evaluations treatment sessions and progress notes using digital platforms
- 6Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians nurses and occupational therapists
- 7Conduct home safety assessments and make recommendations to prevent falls or re injury
- 8Deliver compassionate care while empowering patients to achieve greater independence
Requirements7
- 1Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas TX
- 2Professional liability insurance coverage specific to your TX Physical Therapy license
- 3Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- 4Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings is preferred
- 5Strong ability to adapt care approaches to suit a variety of patient personalities and needs
- 6Up to date knowledge of evidence based treatment techniques and best practices
- 7Excellent communication skills and a friendly professional demeanor when educating and interacting with patients
