Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant Full Time
Overview
Aveanna Physical Therapy Assistant provides skilled education treatment and interventions in the home health plan of care. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and updates patients and caregivers on the plan of care. Works full‑time Monday through Friday in Douglas County.
What You'll Do11
- 1Deliver direct physical therapy according to the physical therapist's direction and physician's plan of care
- 2Communicate with patients and caregivers about their care plan
- 3Provide skilled therapy services treat clients to relieve pain and restore function
- 4Teach patients families and caregivers how to safely use prosthetics orthotics and assistive devices
- 5Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation and adaptation techniques
- 6Collaborate with other service disciplines to discuss the patient plan of care
- 7Plan client discharge prepare instructions and communicate them to patients families and caregivers
- 8Participate in in‑service programs
- 9Respond to changes perform additional job‑related tasks as assigned
- 10Maintain confidentiality of patient records
- 11Observe record and report signs symptoms reactions to treatments and any changes in patient condition
Requirements6
- 1Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- 2Current unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
- 3Valid CPR certification
- 45+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 5Degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited institution
- 6Ability to travel within Douglas County
