What You'll Do11
- 1Assist Learn to Play Hockey programming on and off-ice activities including check-in and gear assistance
- 2Support Hockey Initiation programs by teaching skill development stations
- 3Backup coaches for Hockey Camps and league clinics
- 4Meet with Head Hockey Coach before sessions to review on-ice plans
- 5Interact positively with players and parents before taking the ice
- 6Set a high standard for development using positive reinforcement techniques
- 7Maintain ice setup readiness and organize skill stations
- 8Follow USA Hockey ADM guidelines and participate in Power Play team building
- 9Attend monthly Rinks team building sessions
- 10Demonstrate on-ice hockey skills and meet USA Hockey certification requirements
- 11Skate confidently and handle equipment weighing up to 25 pounds while moving
Requirements11
- 1Minimum 18 years old with 3 years of hockey experience
- 2Valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance
- 3High school diploma or equivalent certification
- 4USA Hockey certification Level 1 or 2 along with Safe Sport training
- 5Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds while skating
- 6Excellent interpersonal skills and strong leadership abilities
- 7Flexible availability for nights weekends and holidays
- 8Passion for teaching and demonstrating enthusiasm for hockey
- 9Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- 10Professional demeanor reflecting Rinks company values
- 11Knowledge of USA Hockey American Development Model
