What You'll Do10
- 1Build personal care routines including hygiene, ambulation, dressing, and medication reminders to support patient independence
- 2Design and implement light housekeeping and meal preparation programs aligned with care plans
- 3Assist with exercises, transfers, and mobility using equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts
- 4Provide companionship and social engagement to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing
- 5Support with errands and medical appointments to maintain continuity of care
- 6Support hospice or palliative workflows as needed and maintain patient comfort
- 7Document observations and report changes in patient condition to the care team
- 8Coordinate with family and care team to ensure consistent care delivery
- 9Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment for patients
- 10Follow infection control and safety protocols during all visits

- 1CNA license or HHA Certificate with Palm Beach County badge for HHAs
- 2Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
- 3Second form of ID (SSN Passport Voter's Registration)
- 4Auto Insurance and Vehicle Registration
- 5CPR certification (not online)
- 6TB or Chest X-ray completed
- 7Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
- 8Alzheimer's HIV and Medication assisting CEU requirements
- 91 letter of recommendation
- 10Must pass Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
